Tuesday Flag Football Co-Ed 8v8 (Archived)
Program Description
This co-ed 8v8 league is played on a synthetic turf field in San Jose and each field is 70yds x 35yds, which is plenty big to play 8v8. There must be at least 3 women on the field at any time and they must throw, or be thrown to, at least 1x every 4 plays. Other features include:
- Six (6) regular season games
- 60 minute game slots, including stoppage time (20 minute halves)
- A league t-shirt - your uniform for the season
- Games start between 7:30pm and 8:30pm to avoid traffic
- Up to 3 divisions, when possible, based on the total number of teams
- 2 qualified referees per game
- Playoffs for the top qualifying teams in week 7
- Prizes will be awarded to the championship teams
- NO GAMES ON JULY 4th
NOTE: Non-prepaid teams or small groups who do not reach the full roster (13 players) will have free agents assigned to the team. If you would like full control over the roster, you must sign up a pre-paid team, or fill your roster before the league is full.
